red wagon about the author and publisher
Arlena de Bruin, Author
After ten years of freelancing, author and humour columnist, Arlena de Bruin, has finally acknowledged that writing about her life is the only viable alternative to costly therapy... particularly when living with twin boys, a teenaged daughter, and a husband who thinks cribbage is a full-contact sport. (If you don't think that's a recipe for therapy, then you haven't lived in a house with three boys and a teenager!)
Arlena's philosophy: life is comedy in motion; there's never a disaster you can't find humour and inspiration in! Her stories appear in newspaper, magazines, and on the Web.
In addition to On the Bright Side... and other rose-coloured catastrophe, Arlena is currently completing her first humour novel, from indigo to eden. She lives in Kelowna, BC, Canada with her husband, her children, a cat with no soul, and a Border-Collie-Cross-with-Dependency-Attachment-Disorder.
